Me and my family ate here many times, the food taste good, sometimes cheap (eat during lunch times and use a Costco discount card or get one from gen). Service is fast. Atmosphere is fun and busy. You gotta atleast eat here once.

We visited Gen Korean BBQ House and had an average experience. The food was okay, but nothing really stood out. It is nice that appetizers are included with the regular menu. We were told it’s unlimited, but during our visit we were limited to ordering four items per round. Our server was polite and did a good job explaining how everything worked, but they weren’t around very often. Overall, it’s a decent option if you are in the area.

Nice place definitely needs the smoke fans turned up more. Be advised, when you get your bill at your table you need to take it to the bar to pay for it, we waited quite some time before finding this out.

1st time trying Korean bbq. it was delicious and very fun. lots of different items to choose from and very worth the price. we will definitely be coming back.

Gen used to be a very popular place for Korean bbq. I remembered we used to wait for up to an hour for seats. However, nowadays there is no wait at all for a seat during lunch or dinner. We recently went here for lunch and we were surprised how empty it was. Maybe because of it the food options were pretty affordable. We ended up spending about $53 for 2 during lunch. About $21/person + tips. The atmosphere is great and modern. Food was decent although the selection and quality were not the best during lunch. However it was a meat buffet style so can’t complain. Nowadays, lunch anywhere is costing an arm and a leg so at a place like this. It’s very reasonable and a great atmosphere if you’re into meat buffet. We got some soft tofu soup at the end to wash it all down as well.
